They estimate the construction of this beautiful building to date back to 1870, judging by its distinctive openings and skylights. In 1883, Jules Dingler, the chief engineer of the Compagnie Universelle du Canal Interoceanique, took residence in the building.
As the United States assumed control of the interoceanic canal construction, this building continued to serve as the chief engineer’s residence. John Wallace, the initial authority of the North American Canal Company, lived there in the early 20th century. Subsequently, the property became the first headquarters of the American embassy, known as the “Legación,” in Panama.
Originally designed with 8 apartments and a commercial space, our current offices are now located there, serving as a hub for rental services, property purchases, and sales in Casco Antiguo.
This corner apartment offers views of 4th Street and Central Avenue! Boasting one bedroom, a spacious balcony, a private terrace, and private parking, it encapsulates the ideal features for a comfortable and charming apartment in Casco.
